ACGA Rates

American Friends of the Hebrew University offers charitable gift annuities at the maximum rates suggested by the American Council on Gift Annuities (ACGA). The ACGA rates have been approved by all of the states which regulate the issuance of charitable gift annuities. In setting the rates, the ACGA uses a group of conservative investment return, expense and mortality assumptions that, if followed, result in approximately 50% of the original gift amount being left for the charity when the annuity ends. If you would like to increase the amount left for American Friends of the Hebrew University, it is possible to accept a payout rate lower than the ACGA recommended rate.

(Please note: our gift minimum is $10,000, and although we've listed the ACGA rates for all age groups, our age minimum is 65.)
